To achieve good thermostability for various materials’ requirements, an APP treated with Melamine formaldehyde resin modify is produced. On the basis of type II ammonium polyphosphate, melamine is added for surface high-temperature coating treatment. Compared with type II ammonium polyphosphate, it can reduce the solubility in water, increase water resistance, increase powder fluidity, improve heat resistance and arc resistance. Suitable for flame retardant of epoxy resin and unsaturated resin, used in various cables, rubber, shells of electrical equipment and textile flame retardant.
