The flame retardant business of Shifang Taifeng New Flame Retardant Co., Ltd. is closely related to the corporate sentiment of social responsibility for the protection of life and property. In 2001, Taifeng Company was established. In 2008, during the Wenchuan earthquake in China, fire rescue personnel rescued the affected people. The scene of secondary disasters and fires caused by the earthquake deeply shocked Mr. Liuchun, the owner of the company, and realized that the protection of people’slives and property is a social responsibility of an enterprise. Realize that running a business is not only about creating value, but also about taking on social responsibilities.

R&D Investment and Innovation

Mr. Liuchun, the boss of the company, resolutely decided to expand the product range and engage in the protection business based on the success of the lubricant-related chemicals business. After many investigations, he took the new flame retardant business as a new business direction. Therefore, Taifeng Company expanded in 2008 and expanded again in 2016. Shifang Taifeng New Flame Retardant Company entered the halogen-free flame retardant market with a new look, becoming a force that cannot be ignored in the flame retardant market.

During the development of the company, we have always paid attention to R&D investment. Under the leadership of Dr. Chen, the holder of a double postdoctoral degree, our product line has been continuously expanded, from ammonium polyphosphate to aluminum hypophosphite and melamine cyanurate, and the application field has expanded from intumescent coatings to rubber and plastics and engineering plastics. At the same time, we have also consolidated our scientific research and technical reserves, and have successively established joint laboratories with Sichuan University, Sichuan Textile Institute and Xihua University, providing a rich resource for innovation.

While the company’s business continues growing, we have never forgotten our original intention and put environmental protection and social responsibility first.
