Melamine Cyanurate (MCA) is a high efficiency halogen-free environmental flame retardant containing nitrogen.
After sublimation heat absorption and high temperature decomposition, MCA is decomposed to nitrogen, water, carbon dioxide and other gases which take away the reactant heat to achieve the purpose of flame retardant. Because of high sublimation decomposition temperature and good thermal stability, MCA can be used for most of resin processing.
