New progress has been made in the research and development of phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardants, helping to upgrade green fireproof materials
Recently, a domestic scientific research team has made a major breakthrough in the field of phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardants and successfully developed a new type of efficient and environmentally friendly flame retardant. Through the synergistic effect of phosphorus and nitrogen elements, the flame retardant forms a stable carbonization layer at high temperature and releases inert gas, significantly inhibiting the combustion reaction, and has low smoke and non-toxic environmental protection characteristics.
Compared with traditional halogen flame retardants, phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardants not only avoid the release of harmful substances, but also show higher thermal stability and flame retardant efficiency. Experiments show that the application of this flame retardant in polymer materials can improve flame retardant properties by more than 40% and reduce smoke emissions by 50%.
This achievement provides a new direction for the upgrading of fireproof materials in the fields of construction, electronics, transportation, etc., and promotes the development of the flame retardant industry towards green and efficient development. In the future, the team will further optimize the production process, promote the large-scale application of phosphorus-nitrogen flame retardants, and help achieve the “dual carbon” goal.
