TF-201S is an ammonium polyphosphate with ultra-fine particle size, low water solubility and high stability. It has the characteristics of low viscosity and high degree of polymerization, and is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
As the "acid donor" of flame expansion coatings, TF-201S is especially suitable for fire-resistant coatings, and its flame-retardant principle is realized through the expansion mechanism.
At high temperature, TF-201S will decompose into polymeric phosphoric acid and ammonia. Polyphosphoric acid reacts with hydroxyl groups to form unstable phosphate esters. When exposed to flames, the fire-resistant coating will form carbonaceous foam, effectively blocking the impact of temperature rise on the substrate.
In terms of flame retardancy of rubber, the effect of TF-201S is very obvious. Customers have successfully applied TF-201S to the flame retardant treatment of conveyor belts with excellent results.
TF-201S is a white powder, suitable for many fields, such as coatings, adhesives, cables, etc.
1. Used to prepare many kinds of high-efficiency intumescent coating, the flameproof treatment for wood, multistory building, ships, trains, cables, etc.
2. Used as the main flameproof additive for expanding-type flame retardant used in plastic, resin, rubber, etc.
3. Make into powder extinguishing agent to be used in large-area outfire for forest, oil field and coal field, etc.
4. In plastics(PP, PE, etc. ), Polyester, Rubber, and Expandable fireproof coatings.
5. Used for textile coatings.
